I think this is the only post I’ve seen here where people are laughing and having real fun… This is very good to see, because in my country, mass media always talk of Japan to speak of suicide and depression. But I know some japanese people are very cheerful and fun. At least punks! Thank you! Fuck Me! I like a lot some japanese bands as The Gerogerigegege and Melt Banana.

Punk in Japan looks much more enjoyable then in Canada which I am from. Here they are all just standing and tapping their feet..its a discrase. But at most punk shows there are like 5 people who I refer to as “squeegee punks” cause they carry squeegees for washing car windows, that start a mosh pit. At most there are 20 people at the local shows. While emo bands like fucking Simple Plan have thousands. Fuck emo and Fuck emo kids. I hate it all.

THis live house is “Wall” in Shinjuku. You go live house and get the flyer and you can know it.
I knew real punk…Japanese punk is crap!!! They cant even sing properly. Theyre so desperate to be as cool as us westerners, but its completely impossible. I’m sure British punk bands would just have a good laugh at the Japanese trying to be punks! I had a good laugh though!!!

This seems awesome. It looks like the soul of punk is still alive out there. Old school stuff (that i hope they made themselves) and everybody just having fun and going crazy. But I want to know…is punk still really alive there or are they just immitating the western movement that happened so long ago? Where is everyone getting this “properly” crap? British punk bands didn’t sing properly, and they did it on purpose.
If you sing “properly” you are not punk! There is no “properly” in punk, punk is a big fuck you to properly!!!!!!
The only punk bands that sing properly are American punk bands who are more like boy bands (aka Backstreet Boys) than punk bands.
