Shinjuku tiger mask appered suddenly
Every time, he make surprise every body. even baby.
He never stop at my calling, and he never stop to decorate. He is fucking swanky actually.

Yes, His name is “Shinjuku Tiger Mask”.
He is very famous by his distinctive costume. Every person who have lived in Shinjuku long time know him. because he is always wear this costume and walking around Shinjuku and if you encounter him, you never forget him.
Actually I have experience to encounter him in past several times. Each times, I try to take a picture of him. But it’s failed. because he never stop.
After consideration, I understand why he never stop at my call. Because he is not person. He is tiger !
Usually I run away after shooting, but today I chase to shoot !

i use to work in shinjuku, i saw this guy several times , and you know what i saw his face ( while drinking water) and you know what he is a ………………………………………………….yep : a Tiger

This is hilarious how some ppl here try to get attention! Some weeks ago I saw a middle-aged man in Ueno Station! He was the most gayest-looking midde-age man I’ve ever saw! He was wearing a pink men’s suit, his hair was like a perm, he was wearing earings with feathers on it on both ears and he had make-up. I don’t remember the other details but obviously he wanted (and got) attention! Do you know him Masa?

Yeah I’ve seen this cat around Shinjuku a dozen times, back when I used to always walk home to Yotsuya. My roommate and I had kinda been fascinated with the guy and what the hell he was up to having seen him around a bunch.
I once saw him with his mask off as he was waiting for an elevator door to close. Looking out into the street, and straight at me I saw his (non-tiger) face for about two seconds before the door slid shut.
It felt like one of those moments where god reaches down from a cloud and taps you on the shoulder, whispering in your ear, “Here ya go, buddy…this one’s just for you.”

Heh, this guy rules, one of the things I like about japan best is the fashion sense, some follow strict trends and other make fashion thier own, but you nver get tired of peoplewatching (way better than all the cookie cutter fashions in NA, which in my opinion are downright boring). I suppose when you crammed into uniforms for work and school one would try to get as far away from that as possible by wearing crazy fun clothes (there are lots of OL’s who sneak off to Harajuku to be someone else for a day, or to Shibuya to pretend to be a teenager again- its great. This guy definitely brings a smile to my face.

I use live in shinjuku, these person is very coloful and quiet keen in that respect. He like to date other time in the sunshines. May people see him but i think he not sell his tiger ball for to make the pecker work too good. i think he chinese taoist or sumting;

I was in Japan last may, and also met this guy. He was walking around without his mask. I asked to take his picture and he put his mask on, and his friend (in a suit) offered to take the picture with me. I was sooo lucky to meet him there, it made my day!
