Hi, this is masamania who create this page, MasaManiA.com. This page is made up of photos I actually take in twon. I hope I can show and tell you the real, true Japan that cannot be seen in other mas media.
I am living in Tokyo, Japan. I was born in Japan, grown up in Japan, study English in Japan. This is the reason I can speak Engrish. Some people complain that my updating and email response is slow. And other people conplain that my englsih is poor.
Please forgive me. Now I study English hard, so i have no time to post new entry to my site. And I also update my site so hard, so i have no time to study English.
And lots of decent people canplain that my contents is explicit. It maybe so. But I never intend to hurt anybody. Just reality is explicit. Of course I don’t think that I do right things. But I also don’t think I do wrong thing.. Honestly speaking, I don’t know what is right and what is wrong. But I certainly know there is truth.
My report tell you the truth of JAPAN.
When I worked as a porn film director, lots of people scorn my job, and looked down on me. But I know lots of people interesting in fuck. Not only young person, but also old person. And not only barbaric laboric class, but also noble upper class. Not only Clinton, but also Japanese prime minister, Koizumi also like to fuck. It’s absolutely true. following picture is Koizumi’s foremaer fcuking Geisha girl friend picture I took on the street and picked up by “Shukan Gendai” that is Japanese leading serious weekly magazine.
this geisha girl was really fucked by Prime minister Koizumi repeatedlly.
The people who scorn my porn job jark off in their home by seeing my porn movie. But they always pretend not to be interesting in fuck. Lots of people dont tell they are reading porn magazine, but they read serious weekly magazine like “Shukan gendai” and pretend to be smart.
And make us belieave that that is true. and No Jap konw that porn director and serious journalist is the same person, MasaManiA. because Jap can only admit authrity thing.
Now day, just taking photo become clime in Japan. Some woman angrily call police because I take photo without her permisiion, some hot-blooded guy kick my ass when I try to take a photo. Sometime homeless grab my camera. And said, don’t take a photo. Japanese police who try to arrest me say that I am not mass media, so I have no right to take any photos without permisiion. But I insist that my picture have journalistic meaning even if I am not belong to major mas media company. Because I always just take a photo of natural reality. But when I am caught by police, I never bravely persuade police. I just cowardly run away as soon as possible. Because my goal is not to change the world, but to prevent to be changed the image of real Japan differently from lying mas media.
Politician and mas media and many thing is always say same thing repeatedly. Because they have very strict code. You know Japanese mas media cannot say anything except they are mas media. Do you know why ? because they always scare kicking off from mas media. Mas media give them high salary. To keep getting it, mas media people cowardly saying same thing on TV, news paper, magazine etc. fuck mas media. Bull shit ! fuck YOU !
I darlingly say my own opinion. So sometime, it seem stupid, childish, explicit, dirty and wrong. But I think it is really journalistic more than sophisticated mas media. and I think it is not so boring than CNN.
these are the reason I kept to be sipned off from Japanese society. So now my job is to find next job.

I don’t think that porn is popular only in Japan. and I don’t know the reason why we mosaic penis & pussy. Just a law problem. Viewer never enjoy mosaic. But if mosaic is not done rightly, police arrest us. Yes, there are mosaic conservancy person who check strictly wheather pussy and peniss is seen or not every day. I just arrived and your photos are superb. Your english is good enough to understand and you make sense which is what matters. Try using your spell-checker though, it will fix your typing
Your photos are fascinating, very well shot, very good composition. You have a real ‘eye’. The interchange at night is amazing, really incredible composition, the curves in the structures, the strength in the lines.
BUT, I have one request. Your logo on the photos is too big. It detracts from the image. You *should* use a logo, establish your name. But it is just a little too big, it spoils the photos a bit.
Somehow, I think I know your reply already. “Fuck you” says Masa. Well, I can only ask.

hi,
I love your sober way of reporting facts that happens to normal people. Japan seems to be a hard place to have a happy life(it’s always hard), but at the other hand, I like japanese movies, anime and manga. Just because they are way better than shit from hollywood. american movies are always so stupid, it’s not realistic, and the storyline is poor. How is it possible that japanese can make such excellent and entertaining movies with not the capital of a bmovie in america?
The only thing I find stupid from japanese government is censoring female and male bodyparts. 2 weeks ago there was sort of documentary here in belgium about japan and sex. You guys have weird shows like the devirginizeshow (show where a girl loses her virginity) and other weird erotic or pornographic media but the genitals are always censored. Still these movies and shows are accepted. Don’t get it. In america they are shocked when someone says fuck you on tv or a lady shows her butt, tits. america is so fucked up.
But here in belgium they don’t broadcast porn on cable (you ‘ll have to pay for it) but in some shows like a soap about a football team there’s a showerscene and you can see the guys their genitals.
it’s hard to keep your head above the water in this world certainly with the pressure of school, work, parents, government(not in belgium, people are free)
By this way I want to thank you that you show the world how life really is. This world isn’t a place of happy people or lucky people. It’s just a layer of this world. Under that layer most people have it hard, no time to relax. Thanks for showing the world how it is under the first layer. Never seen doing it before on the net.

Oh man, I’m so glad I found your site. I love your writing style. You don’t need to improve your english, it’s better than 90% of the people on instant messaging. Also, it’s great to be able to read about the eccentricity and weirdness that happens elsewhere in the world (I’m from the US).

I was last week in Tsukuba and Tokyo. Two things were astonishing for me.
1) Very, very few Japanese speak at least a bit English, even the younger. What second language do they learn at school? Chinese? None?
2) Porn is very common and it is always with young girls. You have much more and and normal shops selling porn than we (in Germany) have and this porn is also visible from child accessible area or the street.
And btw. your girls/women wear much more short skirts than they do here. Oh, and the people sitting in front of the machines with the iron balls don’t look happy.

Did you hear the latest news about the Star Wars Galaxies MMORPG developed by Sony Online Entertainment? Here is a question that should be answered…
In the US, some rape laws strike me as very strange.
1) If a person can get arrested for drinking and driving (it was considered a bad decision to drink and then decide to drive), then why is it the opposite with some rape?
If the girl says ‘yes’ after she has gotten drunk (willingly), shouldn’t it also be considered a bad decision? The guy almost always gets arrested for rape in this case. Remember, I said if the girl says yes, NOT if the girl is passed out.

I could no longer access MasaMania on my computer-just after South Korea had all of its internet companies block the army.mil domain. It was rumored that South Korea had banned all sites originating in Japan. So, of course, I went to the US Army Camp that I work on in Korea and I tried to access it with the education center’s computers. Denied! The 8th Army had blocked it as well.

from my perspective,… we are all humans on this earth… we are just advanced forms of mammals.. we like to have sex with each other.. we are all just people. end of story. it is from this perspective that I can say no one has any true right to kill another being… and here is where people look away, and think that is not true..
people kill each other all the time!,.. this is the easiest thing to think.. of course it happens in the world, people naturally fighting wars.. and people fighting over necesseties… this is indeed the natural occurance of reality.. people killing each other. though…
in the history of mankind… we all know that after a person is killed, they don’t come back.. end of story..(minus reincarnation beliefs and whatnot).. if there is a meaning to a persons life… then it is regrettable that they are now gone… because they were killed for some reason.
inside this basic reasoning.. it could be said that all life has reason to be there… and therefore, all life has no reason to kill each other, unless they need to, in order to survive.
to be honest, I will kill a chicken, and cook it, and eat it(I love chicken!!), and I will thank the chicken for dying for me, because my eating the chicken is my very existance. I am now the chicken. and I am okay with that.
anyways.. there you have it.. with the chicken example(light), I can now define (black) against the light that is the chicken example… the opposing example will be that of killing something out of hatred…
let us imagine that one day, by accident, a person is killed. it is completely by accident.. and no one is assumed responsible… such as perhaps the person killed themselves because they were unhappy. that is that persons decision (putting aside peoples who were known to that person) that they killed themselves, okay that’s cool, you don’t want to live.. you can go back to the universe.. no prob. but.. unfortunately, that persons friend thought that they should not have died like that.. and they simply cannot forgive the fact that that person is now dead.. they are just so mad.. ” arghhgh.. they should not have died, I still wanted to have fun with that person.. arghhhh”… because this person cannot forgive the death of the person that killed themselves.. they now complain about it to other people.. other people become engulfed in this blackness.. and eventually, the black is so thick, that people have no purpose to live anymore,….
so they begin to hate and kill each other.
and there you have it.. in proportionally conceptual spaces.. the existance of light and black (in proportionately conceptual terms as well!!(black= a more existing thing that is “actually” black, light=cannot be defined as an existing color, but only as light. (in other words, only blackness can be seen right in front of someone!!))
okay.. so we have now logically destructed the 2 basic forms that affect our existance.. (I say forms.. because that’s all they are.. a “form” or “way” of doing something)
okay.. so I will say that I.. as a human being.. can indeed _NOT_ predict where black and light go to and come from(okay, light comes from the sun..)… though I will say .. as a human being… I have felt black, and I have seen light. which brings us back to WW2…
okay WW2.. the americans at the point of dropping the atomic bombs on Japan… they had mastered blackness.. they had mastered it to the point that they were consciously reciprocating it, thinking that they were doing the right thing……
but whoa!! hold on!! do you feel anger? do you feel I am trying to point you in the wrong direction? do you feel I am forcing my opinion on you?!?…
hold on… I will admit, that it is true, I was able to logically deconstruct from all the data given to me present day.. that the americans had indeed mastered black, and were reciprocating it(it has a lot to do with how we started as revolutionaries sotospeak..) .. but I am not saying americans were incapable of light as well…. in fact.. americans had great light.. I will admit this fully.. (I will also admit that all humans/life are capable of great light).. americans had such great light(movies, technology of the 1950′s, television, “it’s a beautiful life”, merry christmas, I love lucy, lot’s of great things!!), that perhaps because of this light, they felt so confident to the point that they thought they could reciprocate blackness without being totally consumed by it…
which was unfortunately not the case. (hey we make mistakes.. we are only 200 years old!!)
(post note: this is completely subjective opinion wether americans had false confidence thinking they could reciprocate blackness without being consumed by it, though I feel it is the case)
now.. “black”…. he is a tricky fellow… you see, the more you think about “black”.. the more he consumes you.., and the more you try to _not_ think about black… he will consume you even more!!!!… really!!.. so you ask… how can I avoid black?…
the answer is that you cannot.
but do not lose hope!!!… I have come up with a solution… see it is true that black is indeed impossible to avoid… and even more so impossible to “try” to avoid… but!!!… to _truly_ avoid black…
you must accept its existance.
after you accept the existance of black.. you will see that the universe is not only compromised of the black you have felt before.
there is light as well.
hence our existence.
so… the moral of the story.. why did the americans drop the a-bomb?? because they were consumed by black.. and that is okay!!! .. one day.. you very well might be consumed by black yourself.. our future… it might only be black… you might drink black coffee… for the rest of your life!!…….. but that’s okay.
to accept your existance, and do what you feel like doing..
it is to be human.

Hey Masa cool website! I like the truth and nothing but the truth!!
I have a few questions for you, a couple of years ago I thought Japanese people are pretty cool but when I encounter a few they don’t seem to be very friendly. One time I remember saying “thank you” (ar-ga-to) in Japanese to a customer and she gave me a WEIRD look. I didn’t know what’s wrong or did I say it wrong?
Another encounter was with a Japanese international student at my school. He seems to think that he is better than everyone and gives me an attitude when I approach him very friendly. I talked to one of my friend who have a few encounters with Japanese people in America and he said it happened to him too.
My question is do most Japanese people act like what was described above or is there a reason as to why? As of now I started to not want to be very friendly to Japanese people in America. I hope you can shed some light into this. Thank you

You know, we had 2 Japanese exchange students in my high school (now I feel old…this was over a decade ago). Hiroshi was quiet…just sat at his desk looking like a scared mouse. He blush anytime anyone paid any attention to him. Chicako (sp?), or Chicago, as we nicknamed her, was rather…boisterous. Every 5 minutes or so she would ask me, “Aren’t you cold?”. It made me laugh…I always figured it would get colder in Japan than in New Mexico.
Most of the Japanese I see now don’t really talk to anyone but other Japanese. I can’t blame them, seeing as they are in Korea and there is still quite a bit of bad blood between japan and Korea. I’ve actually met a number of Koreans who are bitter that Japan never apologized for occuping Korea-I always ask them why the first couple hundred apologies don’t count.
Three things that are difficult to find in Korean news…apologies from Japan (for anything), Americans in Korea doing anything good, and stories that make North Korea look bad.
And everyone thought CNN and Fox were bad…Baka!

To be honest, most of the statements in your articles are too shallow because your criticism of Japan is exactry same as typicall Japanese teenagers or 20s who want to show theirselves “how I’m outstanding or have simillar idea and opinion to foreigners”.
In other words, you have typicall Japanese sense such as inferitory complex about foreigner.
In fact, Japan is one of the most free countries in the
world.
