Hanami party show the most Japanish side
Judging from Jap tradition, I must say that this foreginers are wrongly behavioring under the romanticly full of cherry blosom.
Normaly we do “Hanami” party in Spring cherry blossom season. Hanami party must be sit under the Sakura, and must be drunk Sake (or beer) and must be taken photo.
In spring, town is covered with pink cherry blosom, it’s called Sakura in Japan.
Hanami must be done under the Sakura with Sake(or beer). no uniform is required but lots of people wear the suits because lots of Japanese is business man. (blowing nose is also popular event in spring because of flower allegy in Japanese)
or young people do hanami with cosplay.
Not only day time, but also night time.
People enjoy seeing Sakura, and drink sake and enjoy the spring mood whole day long.
and the most popular behavior is
Taking picture is the most popular activity in Hanami. this is the reason we have lots of Camera company.

I also like the fact that you’ve worked in pornography. In a strange way that’s the most honest photojournalism there is. The camera doesn’t lie at all. It just shows bodies in motion and the viewer can interpret them however they like.

A big difference between Japan an the US involves cameras. If you go around taking pictures of people like you do masa, you will make alot of them angry, as they do not like strangers to take their photograph.
